KatumbaPay is a payroll calculator for Zambian businesses, built by Frontline Softwares in Lusaka. It computes ZRA PAYE, NAPSA and NHIMA for every employee from a single spreadsheet, and produces professional payslips and a payment schedule — without accounts, installations or licence fees.

How it stays free

KatumbaPay is kept free by sponsors whose short messages may appear before your results, and by the KatumbaPay Pass, a prepaid option for businesses and accountants who run payroll often and want no sponsor messages, unbranded payslips and separate payslip files. Sponsor views are verified server-side and counted once, so advertisers get honest numbers.

Your data

Payroll runs are stored only long enough for you to download your documents — 72 hours — then permanently deleted by an automated job. Results pages use unguessable links, and nothing about your employees is shared with sponsors or anyone else. Read the full privacy note.

Accuracy

Statutory rates are maintained centrally and checked against published ZRA, NAPSA and NHIMA rules. PAYE is worked out on gross pay, as ZRA requires. KatumbaPay is a calculation tool: please check the figures before paying, and final statutory returns remain the responsibility of the employer.
